Job Summary:
We are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team at a IHG hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable.
Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Process reservations over the phone, online, and in person
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Operate the hotel phone system and transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Perform night audit duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest relations or hospitality management preferred
- Proficiency in multilingual communication is a plus
- Knowledge of front desk operations and hotel management software
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and courtesy
