Housekeeper

Responsibilities

· Daily tasks will include cleaning of guest rooms and public areas

· You will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper and Operations Manager to ensure a positive overall guest experience

· Some Key Areas of Responsibilities: Filling supply carts and transporting them to assigned areas

· Entering guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering

· Replacing guest amenities and supplies in rooms

· Replacing dirty linens and terry with clean items

· Making beds and folding terry

· Cleaning bathrooms. Removing trash, dirty linen, and room service items

· Checking that all appliances are present in the room and in working order

· Straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances

· Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings

· Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g., in guest rooms and hallway)

As a Housekeeper, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager. Your core skills in cleaning, floor care, and hospitality will ensure that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort. With your experience in hotel settings and relevant skills in janitorial and custodial work, you will contribute to a positive guest experience. Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Strong cleaning and floor care skills
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning and custodial practices
• Ability to manage housekeeping operations effectively
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
