Job Summary
The General Maintenance position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of hotel. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, and help with housekeeping tasks, trouble shooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in facilities maintenance. Must be able to work as a team player.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed to support maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests by addressing maintenance requests promptly.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various systems.
- Familiarity with logic controllers for automated systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with facility users.
