We are seeking a friendly and professional Daytime Front Desk Agent to join our team at Candlewood Suites New Iberia. The ideal candidate will be able to work a set schedule of Friday-Monday 8A-4PM and one evening shift of 4PM-12AM weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist guests with check-outs, including processing payments and providing receipts.
- Answer phone calls and emails, addressing guest inquiries and reservations.
- Manage guest requests, concerns, and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist with booking reservations and providing local recommendations.
- Uphold the hotel’s policies and procedures while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work daytime shifts, including weekends and holidays.
