Job Summary
The Chief Engineer is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing engineering projects, managing technical teams, and ensuring the successful execution of all engineering operations. The Chief Engineer will collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with safety standards. The Candlewood is a new build property with 151 rooms.
Duties
- Lead and supervise engineering teams in the design, development, and implementation of projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Oversee industrial maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues effectively.
- Implement facilities management strategies to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Fabricate components as necessary to support engineering initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections using tools such as an ohmmeter to assess equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering objectives with organizational goals.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Skills
