Responsibilities
- Account management
- Negotiating with insurers and preparing proposals for agents to deliver to prospective clients
- Responsibilities including rating, underwriting new business and handling renewals
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Ongoing service as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year prior commercial lines experience REQUIRED
- Currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Exceptional Business Writing and Editing Skills.
- Life & Health Insurance license a PLUS
- Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
Salary : $55,000 - $62,000
