Job Summary:
As our Field Sales Rep, you'll be the face of our brand, meeting with retailers, wholesalers, and local shops to promote and sell our delicious and unique product lines. Your mission: build strong relationships, grow our client base, and deliver sweet solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
What You'll Do:
Sales & Relationship Building
- Visit candy stores, grocery chains, convenience stores, and specialty shops
- Pitch our candy exotic snack lineup with samples, deals, and energy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Negotiate pricing, delivery, and product placement
Territory Management
- Own your San Diego territory—travel regularly and get to know your accounts
- Identify untapped markets and bring new retailers into the mix
- Monitor and restock inventory, recommend replenishments
Merchandising & Market Insight
- Ensure eye-catching displays in retail spaces (because presentation matters!)
- Stay aware of competitor activity and emerging trends in candy/snack culture
- Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools
Customer Support & Training
- Deliver white glove customer service every step of the way
- Handle client questions or concerns like a pro
- Offer tips to retailers on how to boost candy and snack sales
Qualifications:
- Proven field sales experience (bonus if it’s in food, candy, or beverages)
- People person with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-starter who loves working independently and crushing goals
- Comfortable traveling throughout San Diego
- Organized, motivated, and great with time management
- CRM or basic reporting tool experience is a plus
