We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Dog Groomer position. As a premier facility, Canine College offers a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with experts in the field of dog behavior and husbandry at our picturesque country estate located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Grooming and bathing dogs of all breeds and temperaments.
• Ability to prepare foods.
• Ability to administer topical and oral medications as needed.
• Interacting with clients.
• When needed, assist in daily kennel duties including maintaining a clean facility.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older to apply.
• Strong work ethic and love of dogs and other animals.
• Prior experience working with dogs is preferred.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
• Able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, walk up hills, and be on your feet for approximately 6 hours a day.
• Service-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Must demonstrate good judgment and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: $18 - $28 Hourly

Bonus/Commission: Yes
