Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Manager to join our amazing team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring excellent care and safety for each dog that enters our facility. This role includes playing with and feeding our dogs, cleaning up after them and maintaining a quality environment at Canine Cottage Salem. This would also include exceptional customer service, and leading a talented team to achieve our goals. Duties
- Provide exceptional support, leadership and guidance to the team of Attendants, Grooming and Training Staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance profitability.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock levels are optimal and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Manage shift operations, including scheduling, labor management, and payroll.
- Train and develop team members to improve performance and enhance the overall experience.
- Maintain a positive and supportive team culture.
- Identify and address any issues or concerns with the Cottage operations and provide solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Strong background working with and caring for dogs.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve goals.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A passion for helping others and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Clean background and must be able to pass a drug test.
Preferred
- Experience with Paw Partner application a plus.
- College degree related to the care of dogs or a related field is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
