Professional Dog Trainer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for training dogs of various breeds and temperaments, helping them develop good behavior and obedience skills. You will work closely with dog owners to provide guidance and support, ensuring a positive training experience for both the dogs and their owners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal handling and a genuine love for dogs and their caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to individual dogs' needs.
• Conduct group classes and one-on-one training sessions with dog owners.
• Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors.
• Assess each dog's temperament and behavior to create effective training plans.
• Provide ongoing support and advice to dog owners regarding training techniques and behavioral issues.
• Maintain accurate records of each dog's progress throughout the training process.
• Ensure a safe and clean training environment for both dogs and students.
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall training experience.

Experience

• Proven experience in dog handling, including knowledge of various breeds and their behaviors.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with dog parents and address their concerns.
• Previous experience in dog training or related fields is a must.

Pay: $15,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
