Our client; a leading vertically integrated cannabis company, is seeking a dynamic VP of Operations to lead operations, build a strong culture, and elevate manufacturing processes to world-class standards.

**This is an in person role in the Monterey, CA area
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Manufacturing Operations: Oversee all aspects of high-volume production, including batch processing and packaging, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen initiatives to optimize processes and enhance overall efficiency (OEE).
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain rigorous GMP standards while navigating regulatory requirements such as FDA and NSF audits.
- Foster a People-First Culture: Build strong relationships with team members at all levels, fostering collaboration, kindness, and growth.
- Leverage Advanced Technologies: Stay ahead of industry trends by integrating automation, Industry 4.0 solutions, and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.
- Budget Management: Strategically manage CapEx and OpEx budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial targets.
- Enhance Quality & Productivity: Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, productivity, and scrap reduction.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10 years in an operation leadership position.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of GMP protocols, cleanroom environments, and lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma certification is a plus).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead large teams while creating a collaborative, positive workplace culture.
- Problem-Solving: A creative and solutions-oriented mindset, capable of addressing complex operational challenges.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with both shop floor teams and senior executives effectively.
Compensation: $200-250,000 plus full benefits!
