Brand Representative (Part-Time | Grand Rapids)

CannaBlendz seeks a dynamic and passionate Brand Representative (Part-Time) to join our team. Days and hours are flexible, starting at 12-15 hours per week. As a key player in our Business Development team, you will visit dispensaries in your market area to help educate local budtenders, manage merchandising and displays, gather feedback from accounts, and support sales efforts. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for Full-Time employment.

Responsibilities:

• Educate local budtenders about our product's features, benefits, and selling points within the designated territory.
• Regularly visit assigned dispensaries to update promotional materials, verify product placement, check displays/inventory, and ensure the brand is appropriately represented.
• Gather and document feedback from dispensary accounts on customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities and communicate insights to the territory sales manager.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with dispensary staff, addressing concerns, and providing necessary support to enhance brand presence.
• Plan and host Vendor Days events to showcase products and engage budtenders and dispensary customers to encourage sales.
• In coordination with the Sales team, visit prospective retailers to educate managers and buyers on the benefits of and opportunities with CannaBlendz.
• Execute merchandising strategies to promote products, increase sales, and enhance brand visibility within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• Passion for health and wellness with cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proactive approach and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in retail merchandising and/or customer-facing roles is a plus but not required.

Additional Qualifications:

• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
• Prior experience in a customer service or client management environment.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools like Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases, Microsoft Office, or Google Suite products a plus.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds comfortably.
• Availability to work events that could last 8 hours.
• Some evening and weekend availability is a plus.
• All employees must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check.
• All employees must have their own reliable personal transportation.

Benefits

• $20-$26 per hour, depending on experience
• Mileage reimbursement beyond 30 miles of home location
