Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and self-driven business development representative to join our team and help expand our acquisition of new clients. Position may be part-time with ability to grow into a full-time position, or starting at full-time, depending on candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
· Prospecting – identify potential clients and key decision makers with target markets through research and networking.
· Cold outreach – initiate contact with prospects via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn, articulating value proposition to set and hold introductory meetings with qualified prospects.
· Marketing emails – Craft compelling and personalized email campaigns to engage prospects, nurture leads, and generate interest.
· Event attendance – Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade show to build relationships, generate leads, and promote our brand.
· Pipeline management – maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and communication in the HubSpot CRM software.
· Collaboration – Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies, share insights, and optimize outreach efforts.
· Continuous learning – Stay up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities while continuing to upskill and develop sales skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience with HubSpot Sales & Marketing is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively over the phone and in writing.
- Proactive and self-starting, with a willingness to take initiative
- Adaptive and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic emerging market
- Willingness to travel 5-10 times per year, mostly in the northeast US and New England.
