What are the responsibilities and job description for the Criminal Attorney at Law position at Cannon & Associates?
Our law firm is looking for a Fierce Advocate to join our team. We need a full-time criminal law attorney with a desire to fight for clients! You will be the first chair with the support of our entire Criminal Law Team.
You will be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, appearing in court, and keeping clients up to date.
Your job will include representing clients facing a variety of difficulties in our legal system. You will have a docket of clients, a paralegal, supervision by the firm owner, and help from our team. You will be in charge of organizing your files, your calendar, and tasks. You should apply if being a vital figure in our team and changing the lives of your clients excites you.
You will be in charge of managing multiple client meetings, court appearances, deadlines, and potential client meetings every week. You MUST be organized. You must be self-motivated to find tasks that need to be accomplished and accomplish them. If you are the type of person who finishes a task and then looks for the next project or asks for the next assignment; then you should apply!
We’ll provide the training and resources to help you flourish in your role in a tight-knit, supportive, and passionate team. If you have prior customer service experience, great communication skills, and a passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you.
You must be able to work well with others as we will continue to grow in support staff and attorneys over the next few years. At times, you will also need to know how to figure things out and be able to creatively problem-solve and come up with solutions. You should apply if you are a problem solver.
With regard to compensation, it is negotiable based on experience and is subject to review after 90 days.
