Position Overview
KODA Technologies Inc. (KODA) is seeking a Senior Vice President of Contracts to manage the company's contracts and procurement functions and assist with proposals. Candidates interested in both part-time and full-time schedules will be considered.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of daily contract management
- Maintain compliance with all federal programs related to government contracting (FAR, SAM, CPAR, etc) and legal requirements
- Responsible for all reporting requirements necessitated by government contracts
- Drive best practices in all aspects of contracting processes, procurement functions, and management from proposal stage to contract close-out
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on Government contracts and subcontracts, including negotiations, subcontracting, purchasing systems, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, consultant agreements, proposal preparation, general contract language, contract requirements, and other contract-related functions
- Responsible for Master Subcontracting plans, Small Business policies, Contract policies, and Procurement policies
- Demonstrated experience with purchasing system implementation and successful CPSR reviews
- Lead a team of contract specialists
- Work closely with other leadership at KODA to assess risks, drive solutions/improvements, and continue the reputation of integrity and responsiveness
- Strong leadership skills and strong effective communication skills
- Develop, foster, and maintain customer relationships with Contracting Officers and customer management
- Interface with Executive Leadership on complex contractual issues
- Provide strategic guidance on complex proposals
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years in contracts in the government contracting industry
- Experience with GSA schedules and competitive acquisitions
- In-depth knowledge of government (FAR/DFAR) contracting: Fixed price, Time & Material, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Award Fee, Level of Effort, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts
- Contracts Management certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
- Some experience with other contract management tools
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work activities in a fast-paced growing organization
- Attention to detail and organization
- Must hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance (Secret Clearance will be considered, but applicant must be able to get a Top-Secret Clearance)
