Cannon Constructors is looking to hire a full-time Power Utility Construction Safety Manager. This role will be based out of our Seattle, WA office.

This Construction Safety Manager position earns a competitive salary,, depending on experience. You would also be eligible for a full and robust benefits package that starts the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Utility Construction Safety Manager - A Day in the Life

As a Utility Construction Safety Manager, you uphold our top value: Safety. You lead accident prevention efforts, conduct site audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA, L&I, DOT, and company policies. Through training and site visits, you reinforce safe practices and recognize employees for proactive safety measures.

You investigate accidents, near misses, and safety concerns, keeping accurate records and timely reports. By providing technical expertise, you help supervisors implement health and safety best practices. Partnering with leadership, you support safety policy development, making a lasting impact on your team and community.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HIGH VOLTAGE UTILITY CONSTRUCTION SAFETY MANAGER

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health or a related field experience Preferred but not required
  • Must have Union & High Voltage Experience
  • Current WA driver's license
  • 5 years of experience in a safety-related field
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of construction operations
  • Experience in conducting incident fact-finding and preparing detailed reports of findings in order to improve workplace safety
  • Support, Maintain and Coordinate DOT/FMCSA Compliance
  • Experience presenting information that promotes safety, health, and wellness to large groups
  • Leadership ability

Certified safety professional (CSP) or certified utility safety professional (CUSP) certifications are desirable but not necessarily required. Union experience highly desired. This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
