Canoga provides its customers with network connectivity solutions that allow them to change the world.Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join our team onsite in Chatsworth, California.As an HR Administrator, you will assist in administering policies relating to all phases of human resources activity, support day-to-day operations, which includes employee relations, on-boarding, benefit and leave administration, in accordance with company policy.What you'll doThe successful candidate will be responsible for, but not exhaustive to : Assist in administering and responding to inquiries regarding policies.Administer weekly payroll process for all employees.Manage timesheets including reviewing them regularly to ensure accurate submission of timesheets and benefits deductions.Address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.Ensures new hire and termination paperwork is processed and employee data is current and accurate within our system of record (e.g. ADP) and maintains proper employee files in accordance with policy and law.Completes the on-boarding functions for new employees including system on-boarding (ADP), new employee orientation and necessary coordination of new employee training and office assignments.Assist in the creation and implementation of HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and retentionReports and handles Workers Compensation claims with carrier and provides managers with claim information regarding restrictions and return to work.Assist with set up of onsite meetings, conferences and team building events.Manage catering orders, arrange for refreshments, and ensure that meeting supplies are available.Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so to support business needs.What we're looking forThe successful candidate will have experience in or knowledge of : Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, OutlookTeams video conferencingWhat would be usefulIt would be useful and advantageous for the candidate to have experience in or knowledge of : ADP Workforce NowMust HaveThe successful candidate must have : Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources Administrator or in similar role.High School diploma or equivalent.Understanding of benefit functions and the ability to communicate effectively.Understanding of Workers Compensation laws and regulations.Experience in approving and reviewing timesheets.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.[]{st=""}
