Job Summary
The Human Resource Administrator III will play a pivotal role in supporting HR functions to enhance the work environment and ensure seamless HR operations at Phenix Truck & Van. Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and assisting in conflict resolution.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation, documentation, and introductory training. Coordinate the offboarding process, ensuring proper exit protocols are followed.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including handling personnel files, updating HRIS systems, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Payroll and Benefits Support: Assist with payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
- Recruitment Support: Coordinate interview schedules, manage applicant tracking, conduct preliminary screenings, and assist hiring managers in candidate selection.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, assist in audits, and generate regular HR reports on employee data, turnover, and other key metrics.
- Performance Management: Assist in the administration of performance appraisal processes, tracking completion and coordinating with department managers.
- Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
- Other Duties: Support additional HR projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or related industries.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
