Overview

Canon USA in Melville, NY is seeking a Solutions Consultant (Consultant, Solutions). The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for promoting Canon’s fleet / device management solutions, collectively called "Smart Services", to our partners as a part of HW solutions.   This position is full time and is considered virtual. The office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

Responsibilities

- Present the overview of Canon’s fleet / device management solutions to our partners as well as Canon direct channel in entire Americas market and support the implementation of those solution by helping them - Canon has the various fleet / device management solutions in order for servicer to be able to streamline their daily device management tasks. We can provide those solutions as cloud service, on-premise solution as well as mobile app - Conduct the demonstrations of those solutions - Develop and implement a strategy to achieves the business target and strengthen the relation with partners - Find out the opportunity and generate new leads through the events / meeting with partners as well as the actual usage of our solutions per partners - Prepare regular sales reports and manage leads with leveraging the IT systems - Learn new features / solutions as well as conduct competitive analysis to differentiate our offering In order to measure the achievements through the various activities and to promote our solutions, we will set the target numbers for the folloing key actions. - Number of Dealer visits / Remote Sessions - How much dealer "Smart Service" usage increase - Manage dealer communication status and analyze dealer business status / Smart Services usage / Dealer backend system / Decision Process - Education / Planning - Understand Smart Services products, plan feature development, support service product launch readiness

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience - Ability to travel overnight, up to 75%, to meet our partners and join events - May require considerable travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary). Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies - Sales skill and background of (printer / copier, ) cloud solutions, on-premise services and mobile apps - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust with our partners - A self-starter mindset; motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team   The company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position.   In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $89,520 - $134,060
