Job Description:
As a Unit Manager at Canterbury Place, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a specific unit within our community. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to residents, while also managing staff and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Care:
- Coordinate and supervise resident care plans.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Monitor and address resident needs, including physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train staff members.
- Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship.
- Evaluate staff performance and address any issues.
- Operations Management:
- Develop and implement unit policies and procedures.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Communication:
- Maintain open communication with residents, families, and staff members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN): Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior living.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion: Genuine compassion and empathy for seniors.
