Canterfield Assisted Living is seeking Resident Assistant. We need compassionate team members, willing to work as a team to care for the needs of our residents.
Responsible for carrying out the ADL services to residents in accordance with their service plan. Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and licensed nurses.
You will be responsible for providing residents with desired services in a caring, safe and efficient manner, dressing and maintaining proper clothing and hygiene. You must have effective communication skills and be able to work with individuals of all ages. Must be self motivated and independent worker. Dependable, you must report to work for your shift every time, on time and ready to work. Follows services outlined in each resident’s service plan in a friendly and supportive manner. Document completion of tasks delivered on a daily basis. Document any observed change of condition in accordance with local rules and regulations and policies. Maintain the proper certifications and training required by local and state licensing agencies which include on-going in-service training, accreditation, specific coursework and certifications.
Additional Job Requirements:
Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to HIPAA policies.
Experience in assisted living, memory care or long term care is preferred.
Must meet all health requirements, including TB testing and be free from communicable diseases.
Must pass criminal background check
Must be reliable and on time for shifts and have reliable transportation
Must perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
