A bit about the role:
Cantina, Inc. is searching for our first Social Media Manager to lead our efforts to build and drive our brand's online presence. Come help us craft a social presence that echoes the playfulness and chaos of our bots and platform. Responsible for building, developing, defining, and maintaining our brand voice and content strategy, you will play a key role in developing engaging brand messaging and building Cantina’s online presence through unique and eye catching social media content.
Cantina is a cutting-edge social platform that transforms the power of AI into amazing, fun, and exciting bots. They can live both on the Cantina and on other social platforms and you will have an opportunity to help define the narrative around how they come to life through social content and storytelling.
A bit about the work:
Ideal candidate is a passionate and tech-savvy individual who will push the boundaries of traditional social and will be recognized as a creative and dynamic leader focused on building awareness of Cantina’s revolutionary social AI app.
- Strategy Development: Have a seat at the table with leadership to develop a compelling brand voice and online content strategy.
- Social Launches: Build, launch, and develop growth strategies for social platforms like IG, TikTok, and more. Content Creation and Execution: Execute day-to-day management of all social media content channels including concepting, building, and launching content and engagement strategies. Be able to execute individually and/or identify agencies creative resources necessary to produce compelling content on a regular basis.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (such as product marketing, communications, and product design) to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all platforms.
- Social Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, content and tools on a variety of social platforms and incorporate relevant trends into Cantina’s content strategy.
- Ideal candidate is a passionate and tech-savvy individual who will push the boundaries of traditional social and will be recognized as a creative and dynamic leader focused on building awareness of Cantina’s revolutionary social AI app.
A bit about you:
- 3 years managing social in house or at an agency, ideally in the media, entertainment, or social space.
- Incredibly tapped into online culture and someone who stays ahead of the curve when it comes to content and trends.
- A proven track record of building brand love through captivating storytelling and engaging content.
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, and a keen eye for innovative new ideas.
- Ability to distill complex ideas into digestible consumer content
- Excellent written and verbal skills and comfortable writing copy for channels on a regular basis.
- A passion for AI and how it can help shape social products moving forward.
Pay Equity:
In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the base salary range for this role is between $125-$175K. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered: skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
Location:
While we offer fully remote and hybrid employment opportunities, our team will prioritize candidates in the Bay Area in order to collaborate most effectively with our team.
