Pipefitter - Maintenance Millwright
The normal schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts - though weekend overtime may be required occasionally. No swing shifts.
Day Shift: 6:00 AM/7:00 AM to 2:00 PM/3:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM/3:00 PM to 10:00 PM/11:00 PM
Night Shift: 10:00 PM/11:00 PM to 6:00 AM/7:00 AM
Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking Pipefitters in our Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include providing maintenance support for a multi-department industrial manufacturing facility. Involves shift/weekend work. Prior maintenance and pipefitting experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Must be able to work independently, problem-solve, and get along well with others.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years Technical or Industrial Mechanical experience.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to read, write, and complete shop math.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Positive attitude and the willingness to be a team player is a must!
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand 100% of the time.
- Job involves standing, walking, twisting, turning, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, confined spaces, heights, and working in extreme heat and cold temperatures.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly during the day.
