Responsibilities :
Sunrise is looking for an individual to lead a soft commodities desk to complement our current agriculture offering. You will be responsible for building business contacts and developing revenue streams for a new desk within the company. Candidates must have the ability to analyze and forecast commodity market trends, advise clients on opportunities, make informed decisions and provide appropriate market commentary.
Duties and responsibilities :
- On board institutional, hedge fund, cta, bank, market maker, trade house client business.
- Ability to successfully leverage existing relationships and cultivate new business opportunities
- Manage client relationships focused on futures / options and other related P / L drivers
- Provide relevant market analysis to support hedging and / or trading decisions for clients
- Make the business case for expanding the desk and leveraging cross selling opportunities

Hybrid Working - We are currently operating a hybrid model for our shared services employees (including this role). We anticipate continuing these arrangements for the foreseeable future with periodic review. Hybrid for BGC Partners across the working week, means three days office based and two days remote.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000 USD
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
