Job Title: Security Manager/Engineering Technician

Location: Hill AFB, UT. - (On-Site)

Mid-level experienced security manager. This position will provide security management support to the ICBM Combined Test Force (CTF) squadron under the 804th Test Group affiliated with Arnold Engineering Complex. Specifically, will assist with the implementation and administration of the Information, Industrial, and Personnel Security Programs for developmental test and evaluation activities associated with Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center strategic missile systems (Minuteman III and Sentinel).

Duties:

• Implement DoD, USAF, MAJCOM and Center policies and develops local procedures for the classification and protection of controlled unclassified information and classified material.
• Classification reviews and processing of inbound and outbound correspondence and data transfer files at up to Top Secret level.
• Assist in the maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
• Maintain various daily security logs for functions associated with document control.
• Move electronic data files to multiple data storage systems.
• Assist with inbound and outbound visit request.
• Ensures processes are in place for escorting facility visitors and maintain associated logs.
• Assist in getting team members facility access control badges.
• Assist in maintaining personnel security files.
• Follow and enforce the customer's Standard Operating Procedures, such as entry and exit inspections, facility access control systems, Air Force Special Access Program (SAP) security compliance inspections, and security awareness and education programs.
• Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions.
• Facilitate SAP Nomination Process Questionnaires.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the applicable discipline. *Experience may be substituted for education with customer approval.
• 3 years of relevant experience (Level 3).
• Master's degree in the applicable discipline. *Experience may be substituted for education with customer approval.
• 4-10 years of relevant experience (Level 4).

Security Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret/SCI security clearance.

Desired Experience:

• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC).
• Physical Security Certification (PSC).

Other Essential Job Functions:

• Must be willing to travel up to 5% of the time.
