Position
As the Director, Capital Markets Intelligence, you will oversee the management of our investor communications and fundraising strategy, particularly focusing on institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and family offices. You will be responsible for managing high-level relationships with key stakeholders, covert capital flows, ensuring they are informed about the progress and strategic goals of PROJECT 2033 and other initiatives in our portfolio.
Your work will directly impact the financial growth and strategic success of the company by building the necessary capital foundation to launch and expand PROJECT 2033 and other pivotal projects across US hot zones. You will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to align financial strategies with long-term business goals, ensuring sustained investor confidence and future growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Investor Relations Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and other high-net-worth individuals or entities.
• Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure capital for PROJECT 2033, with a focus on identifying and attracting institutional investors and stakeholders.
• Investor Communication: Ensure timely, transparent, and comprehensive communications with investors, providing updates on financial performance, key milestones, and project progress.
• Pitching & Deal Structuring: Lead and support the structuring and negotiation of investment deals, presenting the value proposition of PROJECT 2033 and ensuring alignment with investor interests.
• Networking & Outreach: Leverage your network and industry relationships to secure funding and forge strategic partnerships that will help accelerate project development and expansion.
• Strategic Input: Provide feedback to executive leadership regarding market trends, investor sentiment, and competitor positioning, ensuring that fundraising strategies align with broader market opportunities.
• Event Representation: Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and meetings to network with potential investors and partners, promoting PROJECT 2033 and other initiatives.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present reports on investor relations activities, fundraising progress, and potential investment risks, ensuring the leadership team has the information needed for strategic decision-making.
Additionally:
• Lead Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for top-tier institutional and sovereign Limited Partners (LPs), building and nurturing long-term relationships.
• Leverage Intelligence for Precision: Utilize BLACKPAGE’s proprietary intelligence and exclusive briefings to engage capital partners with tailored, data-driven insights.
• Represent Capital Strategy: Represent our firm’s capital strategy in high-trust environments, both virtual and in-person, demonstrating our expertise in capital placement and strategic intelligence.
• Operate Independently: Work autonomously, with full strategic support, brand amplification, and performance-based incentives to drive success in capital raising and investor engagement.
• Engage in Strategic “War Table” Sessions: Actively participate in high-level strategy discussions, collaborating on global stabilization initiatives, capital syndication frameworks, and precise timing models to align with allocator interests.
• Publish Thought Leadership: Optionally, publish thought leadership content or contribute to exclusive closed-door briefings, sharing strategic insights with global LPs and influential allocators.
Qualifications:
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or capital raising, with a strong emphasis on working with institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and family offices.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of infrastructure projects, sustainable development, and tech-driven investments, with a background in raising capital for large-scale projects.
• Strong Network: Established relationships with institutional investors, particularly within the sovereign wealth and pension fund sectors, are highly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex ideas and financial information to investors and stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically, aligning financial goals with long-term business objectives.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate potential investment opportunities and manage investor expectations.
