• This is a remote role with a Client located in the state of New York, however if the person is local the Client will ask them to come into the office on a regular basis. Remote candidates will be asked to come in as needed for meetings, trainings, etc.
• The ideal person has 4 years or more of Capital Markets experience, with specific experience in Syndications/Commercial Real Estate
• This opportunity has a salary of up to $145k with strong bonus potential

Overview:

We are in search of a Capital Markets Lead for our Client to support their team’s Capital Markets efforts within their commercial suite of products, including real estate, construction, lender finance, SBA portfolios and more. This person will work within the Structured Finance group to create innovative solutions that align with current market conditions and support overall business goals.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assist in all Capital Markets deal activities and transaction lifecycles, including sourcing, structuring, marketing, and executing on syndications, loan sales, and other related activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, including commercial banks, insurance organizations, and other institutional lenders
• Generate deal flow and maintain / manage pipeline
• Conduct financial modeling, analyze transactions and optimize structures to maximize proceeds
• Prepare marketing materials, deal summaries, and term sheets
• Perform and assist with project-level due diligence
• Collaborate across multiple teams including with external parties to facilitate transactions
• Stay up-to-date on current market trends and track comparable transactions as well as third-party lender activities
• Report on business forecasts, financials, and other key metrics to leadership and stakeholders
• Represent team at industry conferences and investor events

Background / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred
• 4 years of Capital Markets experience with a strong overall sales record
• Thorough knowledge of banking trends, regulations, competition, and banking compliance policies / procedures
• Demonstrated ability to manage & prioritize multiple tasks within tight time constraints
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Ability to travel as needed
