Join Our Growing Team as a Laser / CNC Press Operator in Hurricane, Utah!
Are you interested in learning how to operate and learn the software programming for our brand new machines / equipment for our new metal fabrication shop? We are seeking talented and tech savvy operators to join our dynamic team at Canyon Adventure Vans, as we expand to a new location in beautiful Hurricane, Utah!
Canyon Adventure Vans is opening up a new metal fabrication shop to manufacture aluminum products for the adventure van / overland market.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate laser / CNC machinery according to specifications provided
Create high-quality laser cut designs and products in a safe and efficient manner
Inspect and maintain laser machines to ensure they are in good working condition
Adjust machine settings to improve quality and efficiency of the production process
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues that arise with laser machinery
Clean and maintain work areas, including laser machinery and equipment
Help design new products
Other Responsibilities
Technical Skills : Proficient in interpreting software programming, technical drawings, CAD and utilizing measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Attention to Detail : Strong focus on precision and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues independently.
Team Player : Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Keep shop spotless (we want our facility to look more like an Apple Store than a metal shop)
