What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler III position at Canyon Aeroconnect?
Materials Handler III performs the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, distribution and storage of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate with cross functional groups to ensure on time delivery to customer.
· Bring inspected parts into the correct warehouse using the receiver number from supplier.
· Stocking of parts and proper transaction of receipts/issues in ERP System.
· Label parts to maintain traceability for storage and shipping of product.
· Fill incoming shortages for kits on production floor and/or piece part shortages.
· Prepare shipping documents and mailing labels making sure that orders are filled correctly.
· Verifying content of incoming shipments against the original order and the accompanying bill of lading or invoice.
· Movement of properly transacted receipts to include invoicing customer.
· Performs daily Cycle Counts.
· Comply with proper methods of labeling for shelf life inventory.
· Regular and reliable attendance onsite to perform the necessary functions of the role
· Comply and uphold Canyon AeroConnect EH&S
policies and standards.
· Comply with the Canyon AeroConnect Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
· Other duties as assigned by manager.

Level III – Senior (Fully Experienced)

· SKILL - Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of routine and non-routine tasks.
· COMPLEXITY – Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Resolves most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.
· DISCRETION/LATITTUDE - Works under general supervision. No instructions needed on routine work and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments. May assist in orienting and training lower level employees in completing assigned tasks.
Occasionally considered informal coordinator of team tasks.
· MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - High School diploma (or equivalent) and 4 years of related experience.

Physical Demands:
· Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station
· Constantly move about the stockroom /warehouse more than 75% of the time.
· Tasks frequently involve light physical effort; lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects or materials (20-30 lbs.) 60% of the time.
· Position self to reach stock at ground level as well as reaching high, ascend/descend two step stool.
· Exposure to noise and chemicals
