Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial processes in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, implementing financial systems, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Lead financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $136,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Experience in the tech industry or with AI-powered solutions is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
