What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher/ Paraprofessional position at Canyon Grove Academy?
This is for the 25-26 School Year starting in August 2025.
Teachers are responsible for creating a positive learning environment where each student can develop the skills to become critical thinkers, problem solvers and a productive citizen in our community. Teachers manage the academic progress of the student during our schools EPIC day. They keep communication lines healthy and open, directly monitor data and work in collaboration with the tiered instruction teams, Educational Specialist and parents to positively impact student progress. Each week, they will teach the weekly content and curriculum approved by CGA. Utilize CGA’s instructional framework to engage instruction that meets the grade levels.
The Teachers implement the weekly lesson plans provided while creating a positive and uplifting classroom culture. The focus is on multi-sensory hands-on learning, discussion, classroom collaboration through a competency based rubric. Teachers should demonstrate and implement effective classroom management skills to ensure great behavior in a positive learning environment.
This position can be either part time or full time at our PG or Lehi location.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
