Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to lead our healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and implementing best practices in medical management. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of healthcare management principles. The Clinic Director of Behavioral Health Services directs, organizes, and supervises all aspects of the Pediatric Mental Health Programs to ensure that quality services are provided to improve the needs of the clients served. This position is responsible for overseeing the behavioral and mental health services provided by the clinic and to ensure program excellence as is related to the pediatric patient services and making recommendations for improvement.
Duties
- Manage daily clinical operations to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled and motivated clinical team.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Build programs to support general outpatient services, intensive outpatient services and partial hospitalization services.
- Develop Outpatient Pediatric Behavioral Health Protocols and Policy and Procedures.
- Overseeing the clinical programs and supervision of staff providing clinical and direct care services.
- Providing direct and clinical supervision to program staff, including training, mentoring, coaching and monitoring of staff.
- Provides feedback to employees and promotes good ethical behavior especially in a pediatric clinic setting.
- Participates in an interview process and trains new staff as needed.
Qualifications
- LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC license required in the state of AZ
- 3 Years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably in pediatrics
- Strong understanding of Outpatient Pediatric Behavioral Health Protocols and Policy and Procedures
- Strong clinical and Administrative skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills related to treating those with serious mental illness, especially those with co-occurring disorders
- AHCCS provider licensing
