For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. In these cases of dual diagnosis, we treat the patients in the best way possible given their specific needs.

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides group process and/or didactic psychotherapy, multiple family group psychotherapy, chemical dependency educational groups and, at times, individual interventions while ensuring deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families. Master’s level supervision of interns, with ability to supervise independently.

- Must possess at least a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
- Must be licensed as an LMFT, and LCSW and have TWO years of post-licensure experience.
- Experience in outpatient setting preferred; written and oral communication skills, knowledge of utilization management &skills in case management, discharge planning and crisis intervention common to acute psychotic as well as to non-violent crises intervention practice. Knowledge of acute adult psychological disorders.
