Job Description:
.5 Elementary Teacher
Support academic and behavior needs for grades K-5

Preferred Skills:
Candidates must have an Elementary teaching license.
- Expired licenses, out of state licenses, or University students that graduated in December 2024 are eligible to apply for this position.
- We will not be considering interns for Elementary positions at this time.
Don't have a professional teaching license? Follow one of these steps before applying:
- To earn your license through the CSD Alternative Pathway to Professional Educator Licensing (APPEL) program, you will first apply for an Associate Educator License (AEL). Follow this link for information on how to apply for an AEL through the Utah State Board of Education (USBE).
- Proof of an AEL or proof you submitted all the documentation correctly to USBE is required before you will be added to the candidate pool.
- If you would prefer to earn your license from a University, you will enroll in a teacher certification program for Elementary Education at a local university. Once you have been accepted, you will then apply for your Associate Educator License (AEL) and take the 5001 Praxis Test. Follow this link for information on how to apply for an AEL through the Utah State Board of Education (USBE).
- Proof of your AEL and Enrollment Letter will be required when you apply for the Elementary Candidate Pool.
