Technology Specialist
Canyonwall is a Utah-based e-commerce consulting company focused on developing Amazon accounts for clients. We need a dynamic, organized, project-oriented, analytical, and attention to detail person to be part of our technology team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing our current full stack environment, maintain various third-party applications, and troubleshoot occasional IT issues around the company.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain our current full stack environment (Python, MySQL, Excel)
- Integrate new data from Amazon and other third-party applications using API or web scraping into different outputs as needed
- Perform code reviews frequently
- Research and troubleshoot different IT issues around the workplace
- Organize and keep a good record of all working tasks
- Communicate with other teams about ways to improve our current stack and develop new features as needed
- Implement best practices and procedures, identifying areas of improvement
The Potential Applicant must have the following qualifications and skills:
- Proficiency in object-oriented coding in Python, develop new code, read and understand code written by others, and testing.
- Proficiency in SQL database management, query writing, and optimization
- Strong understanding of using the internet with the ability to research and learn about unfamiliar topics
- Intermediate understanding of Excel
- Strong understanding of written and spoken English
- Attention to detail, the ability to analyze information quickly, and communicate professionally
- Self-driven, organized, and have a proactive mindset
- Proven ability to quickly adapt, be flexible and able to go with the flow
- Strong project management and continuous improvement skills
- Excitement for working in a start-up environment with high level change, with the need to learn new software and tools
- Ability to face the prospect of new challenges, utilize resources to resolve the issues and feel personally satisfied when a problem is resolved

Candidates must live within commuting distance of Springville Utah as this is an in-office position.
