What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Manager position at CAP Carpet Inc?
This is a Full Time Mostly Outside Commercial Contract Sales Position in our Carpet One Contract office.

If you have a proven track record in commercial, builder or contract sales and can easily establish rapport and credibility with a wide range of customers, Carpet One Contract is looking for a candidate like you! You must have at least two years of outside sales experience combined with at minimum a high school diploma but preferably a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. This Sales position requires general knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and general internet competency.
As an Outside Commercial Contract Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing a territory and servicing current member accounts, qualified leads to build your territorywhile assuring profitability of each account assigned and added byyou. In addition you will be expected to do job site management and problem solving.
Your day to day in Carpet Contract will look a bit like this:
- Contacting prospects to set up outside appointments.
- Building relationships to get opportunities to do negotiated and bid work in the flooring segment of commercial sales.
- Take insurance claim assignments, measure, supply requested evidence and samples to insurance companies to fulfill claims. Select and supply approved materials for claim per their specified products.
- Maintaining a level of professional knowledge about commercial flooring in order to better sell to and service members and their clients
- Perform take-offs and bid commercial jobs
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality and profitability of the project.
- Re-establishing communication with former members who have not recently purchased from Carpet One Contract in the last 6 months.
- Following up with members regarding orders, estimates, and quotes

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
