Primary Function
The Operations Assistant maintains the integrity of the Lincoln Theatre by providing a clean, safe environment for patrons, employees, and user groups. This is a part-time, hourly position.
Duties and Responsibilities

Removes trash and replaces liners.

Mops, waxes, and vacuums floors.

Cleans windows that can be reached from the ground or with extending equipment (inside and out).

Dusts fixtures, walls and ceilings as directed.

Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and water fountains.

Cleans the 4th floor rental lobby and bathrooms and restocks with simple cleaning supplies

Cleans and sanitizes 2nd floor Kitchen Prep station and restocks with simple cleaning supplies.

Cleans the building exterior including hosing down entry areas, picking up litter, emptying exterior waste receptacles, and cleaning accessible lighting.

Assists with snow removal during winter months by keeping sidewalks clear of snow and ice.

Ensures an adequate supply of cleaning supplies is always kept on hand.

Moves furniture such as desks, tables, chairs, and equipment.

Operates various powered equipment in the performance of assigned duties.

Maintains clear understanding of building-related needs of the Building and Operations Manager and other staff at the venue.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to follow established safety procedures and uses all safety equipment provided.

Credentials and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid Drivers License and evidence of insurance is required.

Ability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and nights.
Special Requirements
The following physical demands are customary to this position:

Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; approximately 75% standing and 25% walking.

Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
-
Ability to push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.

Significant fine finger dexterity.
-
Ability to work in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
