Accountant
About the Role:
The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial affairs, including maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Accountant will also collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain precise general ledgers and journals.
- Record daily financial transactions timely and accurately.
- Prepare check payments, and process ACH payments, auto debits, and credit card payments in PNC account.
- Keep good Communication with HQ financial department and submit required forms and reports according to company regulation.
- Ensure meticulous tracking of expenditures, invoices, purchase orders, and statements
- Reconcile assigned bank and credit card accounts.
- Post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for accounts payable and receivable.
- Active role in project development.
- Properly keeping, storing and securing documentation related to the performed activities, including electronic carriers.
- Cultivate positive relationships with team members to achieve shared objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with at least 2 years experience in accounting/finance.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred & a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with clients/customers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software applications
