What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Electro Assembler I (Day and Weekend Shifts) position at Capco, LLC?
Essential Functions (include but not limited to)
- Energetic / Mechanical assembly
- Low frequency of heavy lifting (maximum weight 25lbs)
- Ability to perform repetitive work
- Must be dependable / punctual
- Ability to follow written work instructions
- Must meet established production goals
- Must meet Capco attendance requirements
- Ability to work independently and / or in a team environment
- Maintain 97% throughput
- Maintain 6 or fewer reject tags per yearOther Job Functions
- High frequency of gripping / reaching
- Manual dexterity is highly necessary
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks
- Must have good-eye hand coordination
- Handling of small components or assemblies
- Must promptly communicate assembly problems / challenges to supervisor
- Train / qualify on basic gages and visual criteria for process-specific Assembler checksBasic Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Must pass background check and appropriate drug testing
- English Proficiency
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma / GED or equivalent industry related experience
- Minimum 6 months assembly experience
- Must be able to work in an environment containing devices that may interfere with the operation of a pacemaker (BSU 33 / Building 3)Preferred Qualifications
- Past experience with repetitive, small parts or detailed work
