Cape Ann Marine Sales & Service at Cape Ann's Marina Resort, a 300 slip marina and growing boatyard on the North Shore of Massachusetts, is seeking applicants willing to train to become marine service technicians.
This department handles all boat storage and service requests as well as sales in outboards, trailers and used boated. There is a high demand for all marine services year-round, but specifically with outboard type boats. repowering, upgrading steering, fuel systems and electronics. Cape Ann Marine is a multiple line dealer, with Yamaha and Suzuki Outboards, Cummins, and Simrad electronics. We have senior and master technicians that will assist in your training. Cape Ann Marine is expanding and looking to add committed technicians to meet growing customer demand. If you want hands on training and want to grow your career, then this is for you.
Any level service technician must be capable of receiving work from Service Manager and executing their task with necessary skill and efficiency. As a tech in training, you must be teachable and willing to learn the tasks at hand from more senior team members. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, willing to take direction, a good team player, customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to different roles and needs in order to provide the best possible experience for all the customers as well as the organization.
A strong interest and some related experience in the boat/marine service industry is necessary to be considered.
This is an active position which requires you to communicate and maneuver through the facilities and lifting up to 40 pounds from time to time.
Salary is commensurate with experience and efficiency, and benefits include paid training, paid vacation and holidays, healthcare and dental, and Simple IRA with company match!
