Marine Store Associate

Cape Ann’s Marina Resort is seeking part time and full time marine store associates to work in our Marina Service Center. This department handles all boat service requests for related marine services to boats, selling of outboard engines and used boats, boat storage inquires and acts as an active parts and retail store for our busy marina onsite. The ideal candidates must possess a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Handling customer requests and purchases
• Receiving deliveries
• Answering phone calls
• Cashier Duties
• Working with other members of our service team
• Assisting our Service manager, Boat Yard Manager and Parts Manager
• General administrative tasks
• Maintaining professional and open communication with customers and employees
• Maintaining and stocking new product, cleanliness to all retail areas to maximize the retail experience
  
  
  

Requirements

• An open and flexible schedule including some Saturday mornings (May-Sept.)
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
• Must be computer literate and able to learn new programs
• Must have reliable transportation
• A positive phone demeanor and communication skills
• A knowledge of boats and the boating lifestyle is very welcoming, as well as a desire to learn more.
  
  
  

This is an active position which requires standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 40 pounds. Compensation will be commensurate with relevant experience.
