GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintainer I is responsible for performing various manual tasks including custodial, grounds keeping and snow removal, as well as other general maintenance duties required for the maintenance of buildings and grounds of an educational institution. The shift for this position is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM- 9:00 PM at the College's hangar facilities in Plymouth Regional Airport in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and climb ladders.
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Current Massachusetts Driver's License.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Experience in building maintenance and upkeep.
- Forklift License.

Additional Information:
COMPENSATION: Full-time, benefited AFSCME Unit Position (Job Grade 10, Step 5) with weekly salary of $896.29 shift differential of $1.25 per hours worked. Candidates may qualify for placement above entry-level salary if currently employed in the State system. Position includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program.
