Full-time Maintenance Worker
•Perform routine maintenance and repair of school facilities and fixtures.
•Responsible for lighting, computer, door entry system, EMS building management system, phone system, and security system.
•Requisition necessary equipment or materials for proper discharge of duties.
•Perform regular inspection of the building. See that rooms are properly heated and that proper air-circulation is maintained.
•Secure and lock facilities according to schedule.
•Perform routine daily and periodic major cleaning including clean and dust classrooms, windows, corridors, and assist in the preparation and cleanup of school facilities for special occasions and functions and other spaces as assigned.
•Report needed repairs, safety hazards, or maintenance problems promptly to supervisor. Take necessary action to correct or warn of the hazard.
•Guard against waste of fuel, water, light, power, and supplies.
•Report and remove graffiti promptly.
•Operate assigned equipment safely.
•Assist in plowing and sanding operations.
•Assist in shipping and receiving of furniture, equipment and supplies.
•Perform other administrative and other duties as assigned by the Business Administrator, Principal and/or Superintendent/Director.
Salary : $27 - $31
