We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker that will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain and repair the facility.
Specific Duties
- Cleaning and upkeep: Maintain cleanliness of common areas including floors, windows, restrooms and outdoor spaces
- Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect building systems & equipment
- Temperature Checks: Conduct daily temperature checks in warehouse
- Grounds Maintenance: Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing debris, removing snow and salting walkways
- Ordering supplies: Maintain inventory for breakrooms, bathrooms, and cleaning supplies
- Receiving: Receive and store all Sales support items
- Basic carpentry work: Make minor repairs at the facility
- Repairs: Fixing minor issues like leaky faucets, clogged drains, etc. as needed
Working Conditions
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times throughout the day
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Capable of lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and performing manual labor
- Capable of meeting OHSA powerlift requirements
Qualifications/Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with facility maintenance preferred
- Problem-solving
- Strong communication
- Attention to detail
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Maintaining an active passengers driver’s license
- Knowledge of OHSA regulations
