Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced, part-time Client Care Associate to join the team in our Dennis, MA location.

About this role
The Client Care Associate is the first and last impression of Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists, which impacts the client’s overall experience. The CCA is an invaluable member of the team that communicates with the clients, works with the medical staff to facilitate emergency and specialty appointments, provides information to the referring veterinary community, and manages financial transactions. This position is client-focused but may involve some veterinary assisting tasks, including patient restraint and running bloodwork.
The Client Care Associate will
- Greet and check in clients for emergency and specialty appointments in a polite, professional, and timely manner.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Occasionally assist doctors in appointments, run blood work, and assist the medical team in completing appointments when appropriate.
- Perform record keeping, such as scanning, and documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR)
- Provide estimates and invoices for payment.
- Take deposits and process payments at checkout.
- Send medical records to referring veterinarians.
- Direct client calls to the appropriate department in a polite, professional, and timely manner
- Maintain a clean lobby and front desk area.
- Respond to clients with compassion and empathy in stressful and emotional situations.
