The Camp Lyndon Program Director supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This Director oversees the creation, development and growth of new programs, events and conferences at the 75-acre Camp Lyndon property in Sandwich, MA. He or she leads the way in ensuring that programs, events and property are safe, fun and effective with the best possible experience for our community. This is a role that blends creativity, leadership, a love for the outdoors, and a deep commitment to the growth and expansion of YMCA Cape Cod. This Director also supervises our on-site Weekend Coordinators and assists with the rental bookings and maintenance of the cabins across the Camp Lyndon property.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Initiate and manage all aspects of new programs, events, and conferences that utilize expansive Camp Lyndon property and buildings.
- Understand local community needs and develop programs and services that fit those needs.
- Manage programs end-to-end, including developing and monitoring the program budget to meet fiscal objectives; securing and scheduling the necessary facilities, and creating and scheduling events and conferences.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations for events.
- Manage event registration, attendee lists, and on-site check-ins/check-outs.
- Oversee events and model relationship-building skills in all interactions.
- Provide clear instructions for weekend staff in managing and maintaining rental properties and grounds.
- Oversee all contractors that work at the facilities and grounds.
- Identify and mitigate significant business, financial, and operating risks and advise management on necessary maintenance issues/projects.
- Work with outside agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.

- Assist in the marketing and distribution of program information.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations.
