Job Description: Pond Cove is a large elementary school with 550 students in grades K-4 and 100 staff. We are a high performing school with expectations of excellence and rigor in all areas of an educator's professional practice. We are seeking a positive, hard-working, and effective educator with high standards for themselves and others. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of six teachers. This role includes planning, designing, and delivering engaging and hands-on lessons and implementing assessments to measure student growth and progress across all curriculum areas, including phonics, reading, math, social studies, and science. The position includes covering student recesses and/or lunches and collaborating with a large number of colleagues including school social workers, school counselors, special educators, extended learning coaches, and building principals.
