Job Description
Pond Cove is a thriving elementary school serving over 550 students in grades K-4 and supported by a dedicated team of 100 staff members. We are seeking a positive, hardworking, and effective educator with high expectations for both themselves and their students to join our fourth-grade team.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of six fourth-grade teachers to plan, design, and deliver dynamic, hands-on lessons. This role requires the development and implementation of assessments to monitor and promote student growth across all curriculum areas, including reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, and science.
In addition to classroom instruction, this position involves supervising student recess and/or lunch periods and collaborating closely with a diverse group of professionals, including school social workers, counselors, special educators, extended learning coaches, and building principals. Certification Requirements: Maine Elementary Teaching (020)
