Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
ESSENTIAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS:
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Functions:
- Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for individuals and the class both remotely and face to face.
- Deliver the BioNetwork curriculum.
- Develop training modules in areas of expertise and use classroom materials that support the goals of the course.
- Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Provide hands-on guidance and support to participants, answering questions and troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs and skill levels of participants, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Stay current with updates and changes to the curriculum and teaching methods to ensure training materials are up-to-date.
- Monitor biomanufacturing industry trends to benchmark practices in the state.
- Maintains effective working relationships with industry representatives, community college staff and the general public.
- Maintain class records in compliance with local and state procedures and requirements.
- Meet all deadlines internally and externally.
- Complete all mandatory training.
Other Important Functions:
- Knowledge of CFCC processes and procedures and general College policies and procedures.
- Proven experience as a trainer or instructor, preferably in a science and/or manufacturing-related capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality instruction in a timely manner.
Knowledge of:
- Principles and procedures of biomanufacturing.
- English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment.
- Advanced word processing methods, techniques and programs.
- Advanced spreadsheet and database knowledge.

Principles of mathematics.
Ability to: - Interpret and apply the policies and procedures of the function to which assigned.
- Maintain compliance records for college.
- Maintain a variety of financial records and files.
- Perform accounting activities including the maintenance of appropriate files and compiling information for reports.
- Operate a personal computer, calculator and other office equipment.
- Type and word process at a speed necessary for successful job performance.
- Respond to inquiries and requests for information.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Minimum Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- BioWork Certificate or related degree (chemistry, biology, or science)
- At least 3 years working in a pharmaceutical, science research and/or biomanufacturing CGMP environment
- Teaching experience
- Windows and Microsoft Office experience
- Google Suite experience
- BioWork certification
- Experience using online learning platforms like Canvas
