What are the responsibilities and job description for the Halfway House Attendant position at Cape Fear Country Club?
Summary (Essential Functions):
The Halfway House Attendant is responsible for taking orders, cooking, and serving breakfast and lunch sandwiches and soups to members and guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
Details: Job tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare all food in accordance to standard recipes, club menus, and as specified by the member.
• Set up, stock, maintain, and break down workstation each day.
• Ring in member orders to point of sale system, obtain signatures from members for each order.
• Complete opening/closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations,
locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will possess experience working at a country club or similar upscale operation and experience in a fast-paced cooking environment. Qualified candidates will be reliable, professional, and able to successfully work in a team environment. Candidates will have effective listening and communication skills and a strong desire to provide excellent service. All candidates will work to ensure the fulfillment of the Club's mission to provide a warm and friendly environment for our members and guests, through commitment and dedication with a personal touch.
